Reformer Table Combination

Our Reformer Tower Combination is a strong, versatile, and functional piece of equipment. Easy to use and very safe! The combination of timber and stainless steel gives it a uniquely contemporary look and feel, not just a piece of exercise equipment.

Our Reformer/Tower combination utilises all of the benefits of the Reformer and most of the features of the Trapeze Table in a space saving piece of equipment. It features a combination of 4 different sets of springs including arm springs, long leg springs, push through bar with springs and a roll up bar with springs. A fill in upholstered plinth is supported by the main frame inside rails. Simply slide the reformer carriage to the pulley end and insert the plinth. Handles on each side make it easy to complete this. Various eyebolts attach to the uprights of the stainless steel frame for a versatile range of exercises using all of the springs from inside or outside this frame.

There are two variations the fill in plinth can be utilised. The first is the above description with the one plinth whilst keeping the carriage within the frame.

The other way this can be achieved is to remove the reformer carriage completely, and insert 2 upholstered fill in plinths which cover the entire top frame of the reformer. Combining this with a higher (rehab) reformer will also enable the bed to be used as a treatment table.

The Pilates Reformer helps one establish torso stability and postural alignment while working peripheral limbs in a range of motion. The adjustable springs allow for progressive resistance, which helps to lengthen and strengthen the muscles rather than building bulk. It makes for an effective, no-impact stretching and toning workout that is friendly to the joints.

The Reformer is a fixture in Pilates studios and is incorporated into most personal Pilates training sessions. It is also becoming a key component to many rehabilitation clinics, as more and more professionals such as physical therapists, chiropractors and osteopaths embrace the Pilates Method.
